W. Todd Stevenson, Founding Partner

Todd Stevenson AttorneyTodd Stevenson is an experienced probate and civil litigation attorney, handling trusts and estates litigation, elder abuse litigation, trusts and estates administration, and conservatorship issues. He has settled cases in mediations and successfully tried cases in arbitration forums, California State Court, and in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Mr. Stevenson earned his law degree from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1998. He also holds a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute, and a Master of Business Administration from the Graziadio School of Business and Management at Pepperdine. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Outside of his work as a probate and trusts attorney in Sherman Oaks, Mr. Stevenson is an Adjunct Professor of Law, teaching Trusts at Glendale University College of Law.

As an associate with Stevenson Law Office, Ms. Elisha helps clients achieve their personal objectives and navigate the intricacies of California estate and trust law. 

With half a decade of experience in the business sphere, Ms. Elisha also holds a Master of Business Administration from Chapman University Argyos School of Business and Economics and possesses well-developed business acumen which she applies in her practice.

Jessica Cook, Associate

Jessica Cook joined Stevenson Law Office in 2016. She concentrates her work for the firm in trusts and estates litigation, elder abuse litigation, as well as conservatorships where she aggressively advocates for her clients.

Ms. Cook brings to the firm over a decade of litigation experience in various facets of law. Her litigation experience includes work providing criminal defense representation at the Orange County Public Defender’s Office, representing plaintiffs in physical elder abuse civil litigation, as well as representing applicants obtain Social Security Disability benefits. Ms. Cook looks forward to utilizing this litigation experience at Stevenson Law Office.

After graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in three years, Ms. Cook went on to Chapman Law School as the youngest in her entering class. She is a member of the State Bar of California and U.S. District Court, Central District of California.

Nelva Rodriguez, Certified Legal Secretary, Civil Litigation Paralegal, and Notary Public

Nelva RodriguezNelva is a Certified Legal Secretary.  Certification is achieved by passing a comprehensive examination. Individuals are tested in California legal procedures, legal terminology, performance skills, reasoning and ethics, law office administration, communications, and legal computations. Continuing legal education requirements must be met for recertification. 

Before joining Stevenson Law Office, she was the Sr. Legal Secretary/Paralegal to the Managing Partner in a Business Litigation firm that specialized in complex business litigation.  She has extensive experience in civil litigation and corporate law.

When her mother suffered a stroke, she became keenly aware of the importance of Estate Planning and the complexities involved in  the care of loved ones,  both financial and legally.  After  17 years in the practice of civil litigation she became interested in Probate and joined Stevenson Law Office team in 2013.

She also enjoys playing the ukulele and spending time with her family and two dogs.

Robin Sebastian, Probate / Trust Administration Paralegal

Robin SebastianRobin Sebastian has been a probate / trust administration paralegal for over 20 years.

Her work is focused on trust and probate administrations, and special needs trusts.  She also is familiar with guardianships and conservatorships. 

In connection with these practice areas, she prepares federal estate and gift tax returns and fiduciary accountings, funds trusts, transfers title to assets, and prepares and files probate court documents, among other services.
